About the Head of Finance position…
We are looking for a highly-analytical director of finance to oversee our company’s financial planning and accounting operations. You will not only be proactive with company finances but will also be aware and provide advice on the best path of growth. Your duties will include establishing targets, developing budgets, and performing financial analysis. You will collaborate with other departments to review and optimize company plans and develop various kinds of operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal and leadership abilities. Your ultimate goal will be to guide the company towards profitability, compliance, and success.
Your Role…
- Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks
- Manage weekly and monthly lender and investor requirements
- Perform regular financial analysis
- Recognize patterns in company spending, revenue, and recommend solutions to any problem areas
- Forecasting financial results while overseeing the budgets
- Conducting risk management
- Evaluating and initiating proper recording of new products
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Must haves…
- Have shared values, meaning play fast and win, be autonomous, and do what you say you are going to do.
- Solid understanding of financial management and accounting.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Effective leadership qualities.
- Good practical experience with finance management software
- 3+ years of proven experience as a head of finance or a similar position.
- Bachelor's degree
